Meet The Doctors

Dr. Scott is a proud Santa Barbara native with deep roots in the local healthcare community. His father served as a physician at Sansum Medical Clinic for over 30 years, his mother worked as an operating room nurse at Cottage Hospital where she still volunteers, and his sister is currently a charge nurse there. Inspired by his family’s dedication to caring for others, Dr. Scott pursued his own path in healthcare—earning a degree in Biology from the University of the Pacific, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree—before returning home to open his practice.

A committed professional, Dr. Scott has been an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Santa Barbara–Ventura County Dental Society, where he served for many years as chairman of the Dental Health and Education Committee. He participates in numerous continuing education courses each year, ensuring his patients benefit from the latest advancements in dentistry. Among the highlights of his career was being selected to serve as a dentist for the Olympic Games, where he provided care for athletes from around the world.

Outside the office, Dr. Scott embraces Santa Barbara’s outdoor lifestyle with his wife and three children. They join extended family for a favorite tradition—a biennial houseboat trip to Lake Powell. His hobbies include tennis, fishing, freediving, kayaking, and boating along the coast and to the Channel Islands.

Dr. Zachary D. Scott, DDS provides high-quality, patient-centered dental care with an emphasis on comfort, trust, and long-term oral health. He is dedicated to building lasting relationships with patients and delivering thoughtful, individualized treatment.

Dr. Scott was raised in Santa Barbara and is proud to care for the community he knows and values. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of California, San Diego, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry.

Dr. Scott incorporates modern dental techniques while maintaining a conservative, ethical approach to care. He believes clear communication and patient education are essential to helping individuals feel confident and comfortable throughout their dental experience.

Dr. Vu Le is from the Los Angeles and Orange County area and moved to Santa Barbara after discovering the friendly organic atmosphere. He was raised in a family of scientists and medical professionals which ultimately inspired him to become a dentist. Dr. Le graduated from UCSB and later the NYU College of Dentistry.

After obtaining his dental degree he continued his education and sucessfully completed a Post Doctoral Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Dr. Le is part of SPEAR Education, a reputable program designed to bring talented dentists together through team approached treatment protocol.

Dr. Le is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Santa Barbara and Ventura Dental Society, Seattle Study Club, Aeromedicos, and Santa Barbara Interdisciplinary Esthethic Dental Network (SBIEDN), a group of 12 select dental professionals that meet monthly to discuss complex dental cases and advances in dentistry. Dr. Le's involvement in academics and extensive experience insures personalized treatment for your dental needs in a comfortable environment.

Dr. Le enjoys traveling to Hawaii to visit his family and also to Mexico where he volunteers. When he's not in the office, he's likely found outdoors with his family seeking adventures.
